Mannix College is proud to announce the election and appointment of our Resident Advisors (RAs), Mannix College Student Society (MCSS) Committee Members, and Welcome Team for 2025. These student leaders are pivotal in shaping the vibrant and supportive community that makes Mannix special.

Our student leaders are the backbone of College life. They embody Mannix’s core values while fostering academic success, well-being, and a strong sense of belonging. Through their efforts, they:

  • Provide peer support and mentorship.
  • Organise diverse sporting, cultural, social, and service activities.
  • Champion a culture of respect, inclusion, and safety.

These leadership roles not only enrich the College community but also provide students with unique opportunities to develop essential skills in teamwork, communication, and leadership—preparing them for a lifetime of success.

Resident Advisors

RAs are student leaders appointed by the College to support all residents’ wellbeing, academic success, and overall experience. They exemplify leadership in every aspect of College life, actively promoting Mannix College’s values and fostering a positive environment.

Mannix also recognises the vital contributions of our select student leader positions through the Excellence in Leadership Scholarships:

  • Resident Advisors: 50% scholarship.
  • MCSS President: 30% scholarship.
  • MCSS Treasurer, Vice President, and Secretary: 30% scholarship each.

These scholarships reflect our commitment to supporting and celebrating the leadership that enriches College life. In addition, other leadership positions come with valuable perks, including:

  • Superior bedrooms with enhanced amenities.
  • Comprehensive leadership training covering:
    • First Aid and Mental Health First Aid.
    • Managing critical incidents.
    • Pastoral care and leadership development.
    • Responding to disclosures of sexual harm.
