GradReady Principal’s Scholarship Announced
Mannix College is thrilled to share the exciting news of Kate Little’s achievement in being awarded the GradReady Principal’s Scholarship for 2024.
This esteemed scholarship, valued at $1,650, is tailored to support aspiring medical students by equipping them with comprehensive preparation for the Graduate Medical Schools Admission Test (GAMSAT). As the fortunate recipient, Kate is now granted access to 75 hours of in-person educational assistance.

GradReady has been a valuable resource for over 9,000 students since 2010, assisting them in preparing for the GAMSAT exam. It is worth highlighting that, for nine consecutive years, GradReady has consistently delivered an average improvement of 20 percentile points.

Biomedical Science.
Where are you from:
Inverloch, South Gippsland.
Why would you like to study med:
I have always had a driving passion and goal to make impactful differences in the lives of diverse communities in Australia and hopefully many other countries through the knowledge, skills and professionalism I could obtain working as a qualified doctor after studying medicine. I am interested in all aspects of the medical field, such as working with flying doctors, paediatrics, emergency and many other areas that I find would be fulfilling and captivating experiences.
What does receiving this scholarship mean to you:
Receiving this scholarship means that I can access a vast range of GAMSAT preparation resources and classes that will provide me with a great amount of support in my studies and ultimately play a massive role in shaping my future in the medical profession.
What is your favourite thing about academic life at Mannix:
At Mannix, I love how everyone in the community supports each other in our academic pursuits, where I feel I can study and collaborate with so many people who are also trying to reach similar academic goals for their future. The tutoring programs provided are also such a vital support system for all residents at Mannix and have guided my biomedical learning as well as my GAMSAT preparation.
