We are pleased to announce that India Wright has been appointed Director of Academics & Employability of Mannix College.

India will be responsible for delivering and enhancing all aspects of the academic, intellectual and professional support offered by the College. As part of this, she will oversee the learning programs and workshops, employability enhancement activities, and mentoring programs.

Having completed a Bachelor of Science (with first-class Hons.) and a Bachelor of Global Studies, India is currently undertaking a PhD in chemistry at Monash University. During her undergraduate studies, India was involved in various leadership roles and completed the prestigious Monash Minds Leadership Program.

India first joined the Mannix community early in 2023 as Academic & Professional Development Coordinator and was involved in the reinvigoration of the Mannix Tutorial Program. Before this, India was a teaching associate in undergraduate chemistry laboratories and a Senior Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) Leader at Monash University. Through these roles, she developed her passion for education programs that engage students academically, professionally and personally.

India will work closely with the Dean of Students & Wellbeing, Annie McGuire, to ensure the College continues providing residents with support that fosters a vibrant and engaged student community with a strong culture of inclusion and excellence.

Living on-site, India will be joined by her cat, Winston, and she looks forward to embracing all aspects of College life.
