45 years for Mannix College

The Provost, Professor Edwina Cornish, was the guest of honour at the Mannix College Commencement Dinner, an annual event held to mark the start of the academic year. Mannix College is a residential college affiliated with Monash.

Also present at Commencement Dinner was the Dean of Law, Professor Bryan Horrigan, who introduced the Provost. Another distinguished guest was Professor Ben Canny, who is Deputy Dean (MBBS) in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences and President of the Academic Board. Both Professor Horrigan and Professor Canny are Fellows of Mannix College and Professor Canny is a member of the College Council.

The event was attended by first year and returning Monash students who live at Mannix, which this year is celebrating 45 years since Monash students were first admitted as residents.
