Sarah is the founder and  Managing Director of ImpRes and founder and Director of Sandpit Innovation. Sarah started her own consulting firm in early 2010, and now has a diverse team working throughout Australia and internationally. The ImpRes team specialises in driving operational improvements across multiple sectors, while Sandpit Innovation is a leader in developing technology and innovation strategy for the resources sector, while also developing leading edge technology and innovation solutions.

Sarah has been recognised as a WA BusinessNews Top 40Under40, a finalist in the CME Most Outstanding Young Female in Mining and was named the AIM State Owner Manager of the Year in 2015. In 2014, Sandpit Innovation received the Australian Bulk Handling Award’s Most Innovative Technology of the Year award for the Spidler.

Prior to starting her own businesses, Sarah worked for Rio Tinto for a number of years where led the Rio Tinto Iron Ore Business Improvement department for the Western Australian operations, and held various operational leadership and engineering roles at Rio Tinto Iron Ore and Rio Tinto Aluminium. Sarah is a qualified Mechanical Engineer (with honours), holds a Bachelors degree in Commerce, is a mother of three and holds a World Fishing Record for Australian Salmon. She loves all things family and outdoors, but also loves working with clients and her team to create positive and sustainable change in the resources sector.
